CHANDLER WRIGHT HAIR, BLACKHEATH GETS A FACELIFT

With a desire to breathe some post Brexit fresh air into the new year, Chandler Wright Hair in Blackheath is having an extensive refurb. Having been part of the Village community for over a decade, the team have employed local award winning architect, Suzanne Brewer to rework the salon image which will include a bespoke reception and waiting area, new work stations, flooring and chairs.

Chandler Wright Hair, founded by David Wright back in 2003, has been at the heart of Blackheath Village for 14 years. It recently won Retail Salon of the Year (2015) and is an official associate salon for London Fashion Week (2016) and will be working alongside House Of Holland once more at LFW in 2017.

The official re-launch event will be held on 28th January 2017 where local media and clients alike will be invited to experience the new look salon with a glass of bubbly. Please RSVP the email below, if you would like to attend.

Press Release: Blackheath Handmade Christmas Market: 14.12.14

Sunday 14th December is a date for your diary. A collection of the best local makers in Blackheath get together to present their crafts and bakes to you just in time for some last minute Christmas shopping!

The market is set in Heath House (the old library) opposite the post office in Blackheath Village and will offer, cakes, clothes, upcycled furniture, driftwood arts and much much more. Affordable gifts from some of our local small businesses and a chance for you to browse some great stuff that you may not normally come across.  What’s not to like?

The market opens at 10am and closes at 3pm. Don’t miss it!

Friday-Food-Night-BannerFriday 20th June (Opening Night) – Friday 29th August
6pm – 10pm (Beach open from 10am) FREE

This summer, Southeast London is getting it’s own beach…at The Conservatoire in Blackheath! Food, music and activities daily. OnBlackheath Beach is the place to be this summer.

Friday Food Nights:
 are a weekly recurring event every Friday – from 6pm-10pm – from Friday 20th June through Friday 29 August.

Bring a towel and have a night out on the beach! Enjoy live music, activities, bar and pop up restaurants from a selection of the Village’s best eateries such as a delicious BBQ from GG Sparkes Traditional Butchers and sweet things from Miss Poppy Cakes!

Entrance to all beach events is FREE. However, capacity is limitedand wristbands are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in at reception. However, for those extra keen visitors – we’ve made a small number of reserved spots available for a nominal fee.

Seaside-Sunday-Brunch-Banner

Seaside Sunday Brunch: is a weekly recurring event every Sunday from 22 June (see Teddy Talk) – Sunday 24 August, 2014.

Lie flat with your flat white…along with croissants, bagels and other scrummy things from the award winning Browns of Brockley. Relaxing live music, drop in creative activities for the family and the Sunday papers. Ahhhh……
